kembara 2nd weekend...ke adelaide...through the Great Ocean Road
|
|
25th april is a public holiday in Australia...Anzac day...so we have 3 days to be spend....we plan to go to Adelaide!! hmm....10 hours journey from Melbourne city... kebetulan akhawat Ausie buat jaulah ke GOR, one of Australia's great scenic coastline drives, so we had the opportunities to join them, alhamdulillah
The Great Ocean Road is a 243 km stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Warrnambool. The road was constructed to provide work for returning soldiers and dedicated as a Memorial to those killed in the First World War.
thursday night kami berkumpul di Bedford...at 12am we departed, 3 vans and 2 cars...
We arrived The Twelve Apostles at 5am..just before Subuh....so we pray Subuh jemaah, read the Ma´thurat and enjoying the breathtaking views there...sunrise...subhanallah
The Twelve Apostles
The Loch Ard Gorge
just a short story about the name of this place...
Loch Ard is a name of a ship that went down in this area…there are only 2 people out of 54 that survived, an 18 year old Irish immigrants and the ship´s apprentice, Tom Pearce
After the ship went down tom drifted for hours under an upturned lifeboat. When the tide turned at dawn, he was swept, bruised and battered, into this gorge and found the girl...

kembara minggu pertama...dandenong ranges and around melbourne c
|
|
the first weekend of our stay in Australia
My school friend, Masdiana brought the four of us to the lush Dandenong Ranges, that located less than an hour from Melbourne...The area is dotted with fruit orchards, market gardens, vineyards, fern glades and tall mountain ash trees.
we have a quite limited time so we chose to ride Puffing Billy the steam train...an Australia's century-old steam train that still running on its original mountain track from Belgrave to Gembrook in the scenic Dandenong Ranges
a very enjoyable ride..hehe..macam budak2....
